DAY 1–2 | MAY 30–MAY 31 | HONOLULU ✈ OSAKA | OVERNIGHT FLIGHT & ARRIVAL

Board your Japan Airlines flight from Honolulu to Kansai International Airport. Meals and snacks are served onboard as the journey to Japan begins. Upon arrival in Osaka the following day, meet an Air & Sea Travel representative and transfer to the hotel near Universal Studios Japan. Settle in and rest for the adventures ahead.

DAY 3 | JUN 1 | OSAKA → NARA → OSAKA | TEMPLES, DEER & CITY LIGHTS (B/L)

After breakfast, depart for Nara, Japan’s first permanent capital and a city rich in cultural heritage. Begin at scenic Nara Park, home to more than 1,200 free-roaming sika deer traditionally regarded as sacred messengers. Continue to Todaiji, a UNESCO World Heritage Site housing the Great Buddha, one of the world’s largest bronze Buddha statues. Later, return to Osaka and visit landmark Osaka Castle. Enjoy free time along Shinsaibashi’s covered shopping arcade before continuing to Dotonbori, known for neon lights, street food, and the iconic Glico Running Man sign. Dinner is on your own, offering an opportunity to sample Osaka specialties before returning to the hotel.

DAY 4 | JUN 2 | OSAKA | UNIVERSAL STUDIOS JAPAN (B)

Today is devoted to Universal Studios Japan, where you can explore the park at your own pace. Discover themed areas including Hollywood, New York, San Francisco, Jurassic Park, WaterWorld, Amity Village, Universal Wonderland, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Minion Park, and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™. Choose from thrilling rides, character encounters, seasonal shows, nighttime performances, dining, and shopping throughout the day. Later, browse Universal CityWalk Osaka just outside the park entrance, with restaurants, cafés, shops, merchandise, and local souvenirs. Your conveniently located hotel near the park makes it easy to maximize the day and return at leisure.

DAY 5 | JUN 3 | OSAKA ✈ SHANGHAI | THE BUND & HUANGPU NIGHT CRUISE (B/D)

Begin with an early transfer to Kansai Airport for the flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, meet an Air & Sea Travel representative and begin exploring China’s dynamic waterfront metropolis. Walk along the Bund, where historic architecture faces the modern Pudong skyline across the Huangpu River. Continue to Nanjing Road, Shanghai’s celebrated commercial avenue lined with department stores, international brands, local shops, restaurants, and cafés. After dinner, board a Huangpu River night cruise. Admire illuminated views of the Shanghai Tower, Jin Mao Tower, Oriental Pearl Tower, and the historic Bund before checking in at the hotel.

DAY 6 | JUN 4 | SHANGHAI | PUDONG PANORAMA & OLD SHANGHAI (B/L)

This morning, explore Pudong and ascend to Jin Mao Tower’s 88th-floor observation deck, approximately 340 meters above the city. Take in panoramic views of the Huangpu River, the Bund, and Shanghai’s modern skyline. Continue to Tianzifang in the former French Concession, where narrow lanes, restored Shikumen houses, studios, boutiques, cafés, and restaurants create an intimate neighborhood atmosphere. Later, visit the bazaar at the City God Temple for souvenir shopping and local food stalls. Return to the hotel, with the remainder of the day free to explore independently.

DAY 7 | JUN 5 | SHANGHAI → SUZHOU → SHANGHAI | GARDEN & GRAND CANAL (B/L)

After breakfast, travel to Suzhou, a city with more than 2,500 years of history. Visit the classical Lingering Garden, then board a boat for a leisurely ride along the Grand Canal, an enduring achievement of ancient Chinese engineering. Continue to a silk factory to learn about Suzhou’s renowned silk and embroidery traditions. Return to Shanghai and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

DAY 8 | JUN 6 | SHANGHAI ✈ HANEDA ✈ HONOLULU | RETURN HOME (B)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the return flight to Honolulu via Haneda, bringing home lasting memories of Japan and China.
