We start our vacation by boarding a domestic flight to Los Angeles. Stay overnight in Los Angeles.

Today we will fly from Los Angeles to Athens via Frankfurt. Overnight onboard. Meals and snacks will be served on the plane.
Day 3**Jun 19 | Athens
Athens is the capital and largest city of Greece. Athens dominates the Attica region and is one of the world’s oldest cities, with its recorded history spanning over 3,400 years, and its earliest human presence starting somewhere between the 11th and 7th millennium BC. Upon arrival at Athens International Airport, we will be greeted by an Air and Sea Travel representative who will escort us to our hotel.

Day 4**Jun 20 | Athens | (B, L, D)
Today, we will enjoy a city tour in Athens, combining most of the city’s modern and classical sites. It includes an overview of the modern city and striking contrasts to the remains of its glorious past. Drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square, the Panathinaikon Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896). We will drive by the Presidential Palace (ex Royal Palace), government buildings and elegant homes. Drive along Vasilissis Olgas Avenue, admire the Roman Temple of Zeus and continue to Panepistimiou Avenue to view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, and National Library. In contrast, visit the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, the Acropolis of Athens with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylae, the Temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion with its Porch of Madens.
Day 5**Jun 21 | Day trip to Delphi | (B, L, D)
We will have a day trip to Delphi by driving through Levadia & Arachova, famous for its bright multi colored carpets. Delphi had the most famous oracle of ancient Greece and was regarded as the center of the world. It was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. Upon arrival, we will visit of the archaeological site and the Museum where one can see among other archeological treasures, the unique bronze statue of the Charioteer dedicated to Apollo by Polyzalos, the tyrant of Gela, in 478 B.C. when he won the chariot-race at the Pythian Games. This incomparable statue is a representative example of the ”severe” Attic style, certainly the work of a major artist. This afternoon, we will return to Athens.
Day 6**Jun 22 | Athens – Emerald Princess | (B)
This morning, we will drive along the coastal road of the Saronic Gulf to Mycenae, the kingdom of mythical Agamemnon, and the most important and richest palatial center of the Late Bronze Age in Greece. Then, we will visit Cape Sounion dominated by the spectacular Temple of Poseidon and overlooking the Aegean Sea. After this, we will transfer to Piraeus port to embark on the Grand-class Emerald Princess Cruise Ship. With nearly 900 staterooms with balconies, you’ll awaken each day to a new horizon. Experience the relaxed ambience onboard and tantalizing cuisine in our elegant dining rooms. Day 13**Jun 29 | Emerald Princess – Barcelona | (B, L)
Today, we will arrive at Barcelona, the capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia in Spain and the country’s 2nd largest city. It is the 10th most visited city in the world and the third most visited in Europe after London and Paris, with several million tourists every year. Barcelona is ranked the most popular city to visit in Spain and the boulevard Las Ramblas is often the first landmark that most tourists identify with the city. After our disembarkation, we will enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Barcelona. First, we will discover the Waterfront area looking over the sea including the Old Port, Barcelonese neighborhood and some amazing historical buildings like the Gothic Shipyards along the way. Afterwards, we will head to the Olympic Village of Barcelona and the Montjuic Hill. We will drive uphill where we will have an orientation walk to discover the parks, art galleries and museums of the area with the 1992 Olympic Ring of Sports Stadiums. Then, we will see Plaza Espana, the Magic Fountains, the National Palace and other buildings from the 1929 World’s Fair around the foot of Montjuic hill. Then we will end our tour by visiting the Spanish Village, a charming place where you can admire a collection of traditional buildings from all over Spain.

Day 14**Jun 30 | Barcelona | (B, L, D)
After breakfast, we will start our journey by visiting the Gothic Quarter. Sagrada Familia is a large Roman Catholic Church in Barcelona designed by Gaudi. His original design called for a total of eighteen spires. Although incomplete, the church is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Church will have three grand facades: the Nativity facade to the East, the Passion facade to the West, and the Glory facade to the South. Sagrada Familia Visiting Certificates will be provided. After lunch, we will visit Park Güell – which was built in the years 1900 to 1914 and is one of the largest architectural works in south Europe. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Works of Antoni Gaudí”. Afterwards, we will transfer to Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, which was the last civil work designed by Catalan architect Antoni Gaudi. In 1912, Gaudí and Milà i Segimon signed the contract of completion of the work of the Casa Milà. In 1984, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Batllo House, built by Antoni Gaudí in 1904, also known as the “Block of Discord” was declared a World Heritage of Site by UNESCO in 2005 for its beauty and its spectacular and colorful undulating forms. This is a must for any visitor to Barcelona and a great photo opportunity.
Day 15**Jul 1 | Day trip to Montserrat | B, L, D)
Today, we will have a day trip to Montserrat, a mountain top monastery in Catalonia, Spain. Situated atop an unusual rock mountain, it is very popular among Catalans, and Catholic pilgrims come from far and wide to see the Black Madonna. Located mid-cliff, we will reach the monastery via cog railroad and after the visit will take the cable car downhill to our bus. Atop the hill at the monastery your guide will show you around and explain more about the monastery grounds. Then, we will return to Barcelona, and enjoy the rest of the day on our own.
Day 16**Jul 2 | Barcelona –> Los Angeles | (B)
We will transfer to the airport in the early morning and take a flight to Los Angeles. We will stay overnight in Los Angeles.

Day 17**Jul 3 | Los Angeles –> Honolulu
Today, we will take a flight back to Honolulu, taking home lasting memories of this magnificent trip.

The cancellation fee will be as follows if cancelled after:
** Feb 1, 2019 $200 plus any other service fee caused from the cancellation;
** Mar 1, 2019, 50% of total price plus any other service fee caused from the cancellation;
** Apr 1, 2019 or withdrawing during the tour shall be regarded as willingly giving up all rights concerned, 100% of total price, and request for other services as a substitute/replacement shall not be accepted. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance when you make your reservation
